Family Health Services provides sexual health exams, birth control and pregnancy testing for teens. Permission from your parents is NOT required but we encourage you to speak to your parents about your concerns.

Teen boys and girls are encouraged to make an appointment even if you haven’t had sex but are considering having sex.

Find out about how to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections by using condoms. For prescription birth control methods (like The Pill), an appointment is required. When you come for a visit, you will usually NOT receive a pelvic exam or pap test unless you are experiencing symptoms. The primary purpose of this visit is to answer your questions for education. This exam also includes basic height, weight, hemoglobin, urine, blood pressure checks, and breast exam.

You’ll learn how to properly use a condom to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. A simple, painless urine test will check to see if you have any infections.
